HOUSTON, TX, March, 2010 – Rectorseal®, a leading manufacturer of HVAC-R maintenance products, has developed new Turbo-Kleen™ A/C System Flush to give contractors a quick and less costly way to thoroughly clean residual oil and contaminants from A/C line sets when doing R-410A retrofits, refrigerant conversions or compressor change-outs. 

The unique chemical cleaning agents in the Turbo-Kleen™ formula combine with an innovative patent-pending injector nozzle to create a turbulent solution that chemically cleans and mechanically scrubs A/C and refrigerant lines. It removes oil, sludge, carbon and other deposits. Unlike other flushes, Turbo-Kleen™ stays active all the way through the lines, from the inlet to the outlet, cleaning the lines more thoroughly. It is non-VOC and has low toxicity.

The Turbo-Kleen™ service kit includes a reusable injector nozzle, a reusable injector canister, plus a flushing tool, a clear plastic connecting tube and one pint of the flushing solution. The Turbo-Kleen™ solution is also available separately in pint and gallon sizes. Contractors save money by buying only the flushing solution for future service calls. 

To flush a system, the technician fills the canister with one pint of solution, attaches the injector nozzle, uses a standard charging hose to connect the inlet on the nozzle to a nitrogen tank, and connects the outlet on the injector nozzle to the system, using the clear plastic tube. The regulator on the nitrogen tank is then used to mix the Turbo-Kleen™ solution and propel it through the system.
