Metacaulk® 1100 is a water-based, intumescent, fire-stopping mastic and smoke seal. It is designed for spray application and to provide a fast, economical means of installation on long joint runs. Metacaulk® 1100 cures to a flexible membrane seal and is suitable for use where dynamic movement occurs. It can be sprayed, brushed or troweled into construction joints (such as top-of-the-wall and curtain wall perimeter) and general construction gaps and voids. Metacaulk® 1100 is non-sagging, nontoxic, economical, and paintable. STC 54*.
*Tested in a UL 411 wall assembly/section to ASTM E90.
