Regional Sales Manager – Plumbing

RectorSeal, a leading manufacturer of chemical specialty sealants and other related products designed for professional tradesmen, is seeking a highly motivated results oriented individual as Regional Sales Manager for the plumbing market.  Major responsibility will be to successfully market the company’s line of products to the plumbing market through distributors and independent manufacturers reps in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the plumbing market through wholesale distribution.
  • Ability to train and motivate national sales force of independent manufacturers reps.
  • Ability to reach and exceed forecasted goals.
  • Minimum 3-5 years sales management experience.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Proven written and verbal skills essential.
  • 50 – 75% travel per month.

Marketing Communications Director

RectorSeal, a leading manufacturer of chemical specialty sealants and other related products designed for professional tradesmen, is seeking a highly motivated results oriented individual as Marketing Communications Director.  The major responsibility will be to successfully develop and implement marketing communications plans that drive the demand for company products.  The Director is responsible for the overall management of the Company’s Corporate Communications department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct the development and execution of marketing communications initiatives including product launches, sales collateral, tradeshows, campaigns, social media presence, company website, public relations, internal communication, regulatory communications and corporate events.
  • Establish, own and drive a strategic internal and external communications strategy that positively affects employees’ and customers’ understanding, engagement and commitment with the result of an even stronger connection to the company and leads to a return on investment.
  • Ensure new communication campaigns and programs are aimed at reaching sales targets.
  • Manage brand delivery and consistency across all markets for all product lines.
  • Build and manage the corporate communications budget of ~$2M.
  • Actively lead, build and manage the Corporate Communications team producing high quality publications and materials on time and within budget.
  • Actively manage online marketing presence

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or business related field
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in marketing communications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing a marketing communications team
  • Experience successfully building, coaching, and motivating high performing teams while holding employees accountable
  • Experienced in building and maintaining an effective online presence

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Demonstrates creative and critical thinking skills
  • Strong business analytics, relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills.
  • Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communicator with ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization
  • Exercises a high degree of tact and diplomacy
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas to summarize complex issues.
  • Business related computer skills including knowledge with In-Design (Adobe), PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Technical Sales

The RectorSeal Corporation is seeking a highly motivated results oriented individual as Technical Sales for the OEM market.  The major responsibilities will be to support the OEM National Sales Manager market the company’s line of products to established and new OEM customers, research technical issues, handle technical questions, and design firestop solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with fire testing standards
  • Knowledge of commercial construction industry and basic construction drawings
  • Ability to organize and run technical training seminars
  • Proven written and verbal skills essential
  • Knowledge of firestop industry a plus
  • College degree preferred
  • Some international travel required
